Hotels
We have reserved a block of rooms at two hotels for the convenience of our guests. However, we will provide an additional list of hotels in the area.
We have reserved 10 rooms at Comfort Inn North for both June 27 and 28. The rooms are $68 + tax per night. Kids under 18 stay free and for each additional adult after two, add $5. Comfort Inn is located at 4055 Belmont Avenue (Route 193) and is north of Youngstown, right off of 80. To reserve rooms, call 330-759-3180. Mention the Krautter/Palkovic wedding to get the group rate. Please reserve your room before June 20. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast between 7:00 a.m. and 10 a.m. The pool is open between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel is an authentic Mexican restaurant called Cancun. Cancun is where Ivan took Pahla to lunch the day he proposed. The hotel is 15 minutes from Faith Community Church.

We have reserved 10 rooms at Red Roof Inn for both June 27 and 28. The rooms are $75.99 + tax per night. Red Roof Inn is located on 224 in Boardman (south of Youngstown). In order to be included in the block rooms, call 800-733-7663 and give the Group # B253000732. You may call between 6:00 am and 3:00 am. You must reserve the rooms one month in advance or the rest of the rooms will be released. The deadline is midnight of May 27. We think that after the ten rooms are full, you can still possibly get a room at the same hotel for the same rate, provided it is not sold out. Several other area hotels are already sold out due to the "event" in the area. The event is expected to cause congestion. The hotel is 5 minutes from Faith Community Church. This particular hotel does not have a pool. Red Roof Inn is located on 224, very close to the mall, restaurants, and various stores.

College Friends
For those of our friends who are still in college or recently graduated from college, you may want to stay with a family instead of renting a hotel room. Several families from our churches who live in Youngstown have offered to host students or recently graduated students. Please contact Pahla if you would like to stay with a family on either Friday or Saturday night. Also, if you are a family who lives in Youngstown and would enjoy hosting some of our friends, let us know!
Pahla is getting anxious about some missing addresses! Please email us with the addresses of the following people if you know them as soon as possible! Dave Smith, and Kelly Szjana.
Trolley Through the Park
The wedding party will be taking a trolley from the church. A short trolley ride through the park will also be offered to guests. Between the wedding ceremony and reception, the wedding party will be taking pictures. Once the trolley takes the bridal party to take pictures, wedding guests are invited to take a lovely tour through the park. The trolley, once a part of Youngstown's history, is now converted into a beautifully furbished bus. This will be an enjoyable ride especially for families with young children. Dr. Dean Brown will be sharing information about Mill Creek Park and Youngstown's trolley system. The ride will be between 20 and 30 minutes long. Since the trolley only seats 25 people, please email Pahla if you are interested.
Area Attractions
For out of town guests, you may want to enjoy the sights of Youngstown. The following suggestions are places that we enjoy.
Butler Institute of American Art on Wick Ave, downtown Youngstown. Appreciate art at its finest in the first ever all American Art Museum.
Mill Creek MetroParks We like the Old Mill, Ford Nature Center, Walking Trails, and Fellows Riverside Gardens. Great for couples, friends and families.
Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. 471 Matthews Road Boardman, OH 44512. 9:30 Sunday School and 10:55 Worship Service each Sunday. This is the church where Pahla grew up and is a member. On June 29, Cornerstone is holding its annual "Church in the Park". It is located at a pavilion in Boardman Park. Sunday School is canceled for that day and there will be a picnic lunch to follow.
St. Edward's Church. 240 Todd Lane. Youngstown, OH 44504. 9:00 and 11:30 Mass each Sunday. Ivan is a current member here.
